Remote Console is an application that allows you to remotely execute JavaScript in Windows 96. It uses the RTOP Protocol to allow you to access it in SuperTerm. For security reasons, enabling Remote Console requires you to have a password set.
Remote Console was first introduced in Windows 96 Lite, and kept in the release of Windows 96 v3. Despite being in Lite, which was a separate light-weight version of V2 which had early V3 features, it was never included in the regular version of v2. However, the regular version was required, as the Lite version did not come with SuperTerm.
